Gateway Arch, Saint Louis

Louis and Clark began it all, an expansion into the west!  The gateway arch serves as a gateway to the west and therefore a fitting place to begin our journey our west.

After a short 277 mile ride in from Kentucky, we headed into Gateway National Park for photo opportunities and a trip up into the top of the arch! 

We watched a short documentary showing how they got the arch 40 stories into the air.  After, we journeyed to the top of the arch in the small pod elevators.  Enjoy the sights, it was a truly amazing day for scenery!
