Mesa Verde, The Green Table

Early on Friday morning we headed to Mesa Verde.  Not only does it look cool from afar, it is also full of hidden treasures!  We stopped at the museum to get a brief history on the Native Americans that inhabited the area as well as the evolution of the cliff dwellings.  Then, we hiked down to see the Spruce Tree House, one of the dwellings that is 98% original.  It was fascinating!
There it is, the flat green table!

This is the half of the group that hiked down with me.  It's kind of a small, steep path so we split them into two groups!

Just monkeying around, waiting for our walk.
The view from above the Spruce Tree House.

Simply amazing isn't it?

Must have been bright, huh?

Cheese!

Da Boys.
Going down into one of the cellars.
